Poseable Soft Mount Rabbit EXAMPLE

An example of our poseable soft mount rabbits.  

This particular rabbit was not tanned by us, but was tanned using a very similar method to our tan.

On all of our poseable mounts the head is mounted on a home cast and carved lightweight foam base which helps to keep the weight down so the animal can lift its head. 
The armature is then assembled from either several strands of galvanised wire or plastic ball socket armature, depending on the size of the animal. A combination of these two methods may also be used, again depending on size. The wire armature design has been tested extremely thoroughly to ensure it does not break down. 
The rest of the body is then stuffed lightly to allow posing. If appropriate steel shot weighting is added for a more realistic feel. 

We are happy to mount any of the pelts tanned by us, if they are large enough to do so. We do not offer a non poseable or rigid mounting service at the time.
